Jesper Kärrbrink appointed as CEO of Mr Green

It has been announced that Jesper Kärrbrink has been appointed the position of CEO of Mr Green Ltd., an award winning online casino.

The previous CEO Bo Wänghammar will work with business development within Mr Green.

Jesper Kärrbrink said that: “It is exciting to be back in the gaming industry, and to be working with one of the industry’s strongest brands. I now get the chance to develop a international product offer and strengthen Mr Green’s position further.”

CEO of Mr Green & Co AB, Per Norman, stated: “We are very pleased to have recruited Jesper. He is a driven leader with extensive experience in online and gaming companies. Jesper will have a strong focus on continued growth and the development of the product offering.”

Jesper Kärrbrink will be joining Mr Green from the position of CEO and vice chairman of Euroflorist. He is a board member of Euroflorist AB, Carpet Vista AB and Wallvision AB.

Kärrbrink has a background in media and was also the head of Bonnier’s digital operations, Bonnier Interactive, and later became director of Bonnier weekly magazines. Between 2004 and 2008, he was the CEO of Svenska Spel.

Between 2008 and 2010, Kärrbrink was CEO and president of Eniro. In 2011 he took over as CEO of Euroflorist and increased the company’s online sales by 30% annually.

In addition to this, Jesper Kärrbrink is the co-author of crime novels “Fatal Exit” and “Elisabeth Gripe” and “Angel and Demon” as well as the management book, “The Digital Mutation.”

David Nordberg joins Mr Green as Chief Marketing Officer

Online casino Mr Green today announced that both David Nordberg and Oskar Mühlbach have joined the team.

David Nordberg, who has previously worked with digital gaming companies such as Electronic Arts and King, has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). At Electronic Arts, Nordberg started and headed EA Play4Free Publishing, whilst at King he held the role of Chief Performance Officer.

Commenting on the appointment, Nordberg said: “We’re at the dawn of a new era where the boundaries between real money and free-to-play games are rapidly broken down and merged into a hybrid business model. Gaming companies are forced to think outside the box and look for new innovative ways to market and promote themselves.

“We already know brand values and customer sentiment matter so much more than big TV advertising campaigns. It’s in this context I’m joining one of the strongest brands in the industry. I’m excited and proud to start a new journey together with a management team which has a vision set on changing the gaming industry forever.”

Oskar Mühlbach has been appointed as Mr Green’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO). As a hugely successful entrepreneur, Mühlbach has been involved with several successful start-ups with the most recent being Footway.

Playson and Mr Green sign distribution deal

playson-webPlayson Malta headquartered igaming content provider has signed a distribution deal with online casino Mr Green.

According to the deal, Mr Green will now have access to Playson’s 30+ Omni Channel slots, such as “Bumper Crop”, “Dracula’s Family”, “Alice in Wonderslots” and other titles that are going to be released later in 2016.

Mr. Green executive steps down

The Scandinavian online casino operator Mr. Green has recently confirmed that its largest shareholder, Mr. Hans Fajerson,  has stepped down from the board of directors. Aside from his duties on the board, the former board member acted as an executive at a number of property companies & served as a member of the audit committee for Green Gaming Group.

A Mr. Green representative stated that the change is with immediate effect due to time constraints. The iGaming operator is has a class 1 on 4 licence with the Lotteries and Gaming Authority in Malta, and representatives of the company have confirmed that this will not affect operations in any way. Mr. Fajerson will continue to be the largest shareholder of Mr. Green & Co with 20.2% of the total votes.

Whether another executive will be appointed  is not yet officially stated by company reps.

The Malta licensed company has its registered office in central Sliema.
