GamCrowd launches Technology Focused online service

GamCrowd has launched a free online tech-focused service which aims to be the center of ideas and innovation for the gaming industry. NYX Gaming and Tonybet collaborate for Lithuania Launch

NYX Gaming Group has launched its Open gaming System (OGS) with online operator TonyBet. This is set to service the regulated markets in Estonia, Denmark UK and the newly regulated market in Lithuania.

Tonybet will actually be the first operator to go live in Lithuania for NYX Gaming Group. This will allow NYX to distribute their portfolio of table game titles and slots covering mobile and desktop from their subsidiary NextGen Gaming in which they fully own.

This launch will include titles such as Gorilla Go Wild, Jackpot Jester 50,000, Foxin’ Wins and Merlin’s Millions Superbet. NYX also plans to immediately start delivering hundreds of slot titles which are available from multiple vendors covering desktop and mobile to TonyBet Estonia.

CEO of TonyBet stated that they have been preparing for quite a while to launch online casino gaming for the Lithuanian market. He went on to say how pleased they were to have partnered up with NYX Gaming Group to allow this venture to transpire. 888 Holding set to launch localised service in Romania

888 Holdings, the Online gambling operator has announced their intent on September 1st to launch a new localised service in Romania. The company’s Romanian version, will unify its poker, casino and sport arms all together in a single account.

888 Holdings chief executive Itai Frieberger states that the company has been one of the world’s dominant and trusted gambling operators for close to two decades with their award winning proprietary software and services as their backbone.

A conglomerate formed by 888 Holdings and Grosvenor Casino operator Rank submitted two bids for Will Hill last Thursday that were both refused. The consortium suggested a three-way tie up where the two companies would combine to form a brand new company called Bidco with the aim to gain Will Hill.

Frieberger admitted his disappointment after William Hill board did not share the views of 888 and Rank for the business because he considered the proposed merger to have “compelling industrial logic” behind it.

“Our flagship brands, 888poker, 888casino and 888sport, operate in several regulated markets around the world, including the United Kingdom, Spain and Denmark, and have been an online destination of choice in these markets for years,” added Frieberger. “We aim to offer to Romanian players as a global brand with a unique, local flavour.”

Casumo launches its product on UK market

Casumo, iGaming operator headquartered in Malta and exhibiting at SiGMA15, has recently entered the UK market with its adventure-based online casino. It is the company’s first market entry outside Scandinavian countries, where in the last year the number of active players was doubled.
