Angelo Dalli

As Bit8’s ( chief executive officer, Angelo Dalli is responsible for leading the company’s product development, business and technology strategy. Angelo co-founded Bit8 with Keith Galea and Brian Fenech after identifying the need for an intelligent backend system that positively impacts the operator’s bottom line while providing an awesome player experience. Angelo has joined Bit8 as its CEO in 2013 and has led the company through its initial growth phase and its first external financing round.

Angelo holds a bachelor’s degree in IT and a master’s degree in Computational Linguistics from the University of Malta, together with a doctorate in Computer Science and Search Engine Technology from the University of Sheffield. Angelo has published over 23 publications in Europe and the US since 2001 and has over sixteen years of experience in various executive positions in technology, entertainment and gaming companies. Angelo has represented Malta in various international events and has won a bronze medal at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) in 1995.  He is also a member of the European Business Angel Network (EBAN) and was elected on the Malta Chamber of Commerce Remote Gaming Council. Occasionally Angelo can be seen running half marathons in between meetings.

Adam Daniel

Adam Daniel is the Managing Director of games developer Playson. His remit is to introduce Playson products into the market place, build initial commercial relationships, setup operational processes and work with our ownership to define our operational strategy…and have some fun with a great team of people along the way.

Before his role at Playson Adam spent one year consulting to multiple iGaming technology firms and five years as Operations Director / Compliance Director at Amaya Gaming. Adam worked alongside Amaya’s executive team on multiple projects worldwide and several of the high profile acquisitions for which Amaya has become known in the industry.

Tal Itzhak Ron

Tal graduated from Haifa University School of Law (LL.B.) and Faculty of Computer Science (B.Sc.), and further obtained a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Bar Ilan University (M.Sc). SiGMA14-15: one year on

The SiGMA project officially took off around one year ago with a press conference in which the MGA executive chairman Joseph Cuschieri as well as the Parliamentary Secretary for iGaming, Jose’ Herrera, shared some remarks for the year ahead. Today, one year on, we have secured a summit, the likes of which the gaming industry had been wanting for quite some time.

Last year’s SiGMA was also our baptism of fire but, following feedback from exhibitors, delegates and speakers, the plans to organise such show on a yearly basis have been cast in stone. Others, who did not make it to SiGMA14 for any reason, have also confirmed their early participation for this year’s summit. As a result, we have been able to identify six features that distinguish SiGMA from any other gaming event worldwide:sigma 2015 160x600

  • INDUSTRY TREND: The three distinct pillars within the industry – B2B, Operators and Affiliates – are coming closer together. Today’s affiliate, for instance, is fast becoming a successful operator within months. SiGMA is the only 360° igaming showcase in Malta that reflects this trend.
  • TRUST: Virtually all our exhibitors from 2014 will exhibit again in 2015. SiGMA also won the trust of many exhibitors who did not take part in 2014.
  • LOCATION: SiGMA is held in Malta, home to some 300 gaming companies, 500 licenses, making it easier for everyone to meet, greet and do business. Plus, great weather in November calls for free, open air networking events close to the venue itself.
