The Most Innovative Companies in Malta Rated

Take a closer look at some of Malta’s most forward-looking gambling companies

Malta is a tiny island country, located in the centre of the Mediterranean, just below the Italian island of Sicily. Not exactly the most famous country in the world, Malta is often one of the forgotten countries of Europe. However, this beautiful little island probably deserves a little more attention. Malta enjoys 300 days of sunshine — more than pretty much anywhere else in Europe – and boasts a rich and varied culture and history.

In recent years, Malta has also become one of the global hubs for the online gambling industry. There are around 300 gambling companies currently located in Malta at the moment, including some of the biggest names in the industry. They benefit not only from the benevolent climate, but also the remote gaming licences, English speaking workforce, and lenient corporate taxation. We are going to take a close look at some of the most innovative gambling companies in Malta, and see how they rate.

Talk about innovation in the world of online casinos, and it is hard to look too far past Casumo Casino. The team of Casumo is on a mission to re-invent the world of online gambling, and specifically how we think about online casinos. The traditional model of an online casino is one which tries to replicate the look and perception of a land-based casino. This means muted red and black colours, and images of beautiful smiling people in formal attire.

Of course, this does not take into account the enormous potential that an online casino has when compared to its physical counterpart. Casumo has approached the online casino from the 21st century perspective, where social media is king and much of our time is spent on our smartphones. The result is a visually stunning site like nothing that existed before, a different world of gaming which blurs the line between social gaming and gambling. Spend some time in the Casumo universe, and you may not want to come back! That fun and entertaining vibe extends to those who work for Casumo as well, in a company where imagination and inspiration can thrive.

Mr Green Casino is another fresh and forward-looking betting site. The company is based in the popular Sliema area of Malta, and has grown considerably since its launch in 2008. Awards don’t mean everything, but the fact that Mr Green picked up the gongs for Online Gaming Operator of the Year in 2017 from both the eGaming Review and the IGA certainly must count for something. Your ‘host’ at this award-winning site is the eponymous ‘Mr Green’ a green-suited, bowler hat wearing gentleman. The casino likes to reward its players, offering regular bonuses and promotions to keep new and existing players happy. They have also recently launched a potentially game-changing piece of software which monitors players to ensure that there are no problem gambling concerns. Mr Green is not just popular with players, as employees report a positive environment with competitive salaries and good benefits.

The biggest name on the Malta gaming scene — certainly in terms of size of the workforce — is Swedish-owned Betsson. This company is famous throughout the island of Malta for the benefits and generous parties thrown for its workers, making it a great landing spot for potential new employees. As for the site itself, Betsson offers something for everybody in terms of the products on offer. When you register with the site, you will gain access to the sportsbook and poker rooms as well as the impressive casino.

The promotions section of the site is particularly noteworthy as there are always lots of offers to choose from for both new and existing players. Betsson is particularly popular in the Scandinavian market, naturally enough, but has been making its presence felt on the global scene in recent years. Once again, Betsson is not a company which is afraid to take risks, and its forward-looking vision has served this company well over the years.

Whether you are thinking of registering at an online casino, or even venturing to Malta to work for one, we trust that this article has given you food for thought. Certainly, these three online casinos are three of the best in the business. All of them are committed to putting their players first, and to providing an immersive and entertaining gaming experience. This type of company attracts a youthful workforce, and this is the truth of the online gambling industry in general. This is reflected in the fresh designs and games which you can expect to enjoy at these standard-bearing casinos.
