Katja Laaksonen started her career in marketing communications when web was used just to storage pdf-files. Ever since she has worked in executive positions for multinational companies including Nokia. She has been leading the digital field experiencing the Internet bubble burst, building numerous global product launches at Satama Interactive and taking an online community HabboHotel by Sulake to 30 countries. Katja has also been introducing mobile capabilities such as MMS and launching photo sharing services and maps by Navteq globally.
Her start-up and agency background is supported by a vast experience also in a global corporation having led marketing units varying from product marketing to CRM and digital marketing overall. She is a seasoned B2C marketer putting customer needs always to the front seat.
After working several years on telecommunications, she decided to get into the exciting world of online gaming by heading CRM for BetssonGroup. Currently Katja holds a position as CMO in one of the hottest rising gaming sites Guts Gaming in Malta.
