Tipico aims to accelerate deposits with Jumio’s BAM Checkout

One of the leading European gambling operators in Germany and Austria, Tipico, has integrated technology from Jumio Corp with intentions of speeding up mobile customer deposits. The company plans to streamline first deposits for their mobile customers by utilising the Silicon Valley firm’s BAM Checkout.

Jumio is known for their command in digital ID verification and has stated that their own research reflects an average time of up to two minutes for making mobile deposits, while some operators even report a high percentage of abandonment rates of up to 70%.

BAM checkouts promises to be “a fast, secure and seamless process” where it allows the customer to scan their bank cards with their mobile device when making deposits.

Tipico’s director of product management Jim Parkins stated that their aim is to provide superb customer service every step of the way. He went on to say that the first deposit is a very critical step in the customer’s journey and this is a definitive moment in the rest of their experience with them.
