Peter Jackson has this week officially moved into the role of chief executive at Paddy Power Betfair
This week, Peter Jackson has officially taken his position as chief executive office of Paddy Power Betfair. He has already been appointed as a replacement for prior CEO Breon Corcoran last year in August.
Jackson took over the role of the CEO just one day after Corcoran left his position on January 7. Most recently, Jackson served as the chief executive of global payments business WorldPay.
However, Jackson has already been an independent, non-executive director at Paddy Power Betfair since 2016; prior to this position he held a similar role at Befair before the company merged with Paddy Power.
Earlier in his career, before he started at Paddy Power Betfair, Jackson served as chief executive of Travelex Group from 2010 to 2016. He also led the leading function of the innovation function for Banco Santander in 2016 and executed several roles at HBOS and Lloyds Banking Group.
Commenting his appointment Jackson said, “I am excited about the prospect of joining the Paddy Power Betfair executive team. Paddy Power Betfair has some of the leading brands in the global gaming industry and the business has great prospects.”
