According to the agreement, the companies will mutually share their resources by distributing sports wagering products to each other. For Metric Gaming, the cooperation means gaining an access to the sportsbook platforms market.
With a license given by Metric, Sporting Solutions is from now on allowed to use its worldwide client database to distribute Metric’s in-play pricing feeds. In exchange for that, Metric will be able to derive benefits from Sporting Solutions’ content and pricing solutions.
Ronnie Whelan, business development director of Sporting Solutions, said: “We are focused on meeting our current and future partners’ aspirations for leading in-play coverage, additional content, innovation and quick product delivery, and were naturally drawn to Metric’s exciting portfolio of services”.
“We see many obvious synergies between our companies, and look forward to exploring all of the opportunities we expect this partnership to yield”, he further commented.
“Our market research has definitively shown an industry appetite to shed legacy technology in favour of advanced, mobile-first platforms like ours, which can seamlessly handle the types of in-play, instant-gratification wagering opportunities that are taking over the betting landscape” Chief executive of Metric Gaming, Peter Bertilsson added.
“We were looking for a trusted and well-established partner to complement our sportsbook platform while also providing access to a valuable customer distribution network, making Sporting Solutions an easy choice.”
