Betway Works Towards Maximising Brand in Belgium

Leading global online gambling company Betway has officially secured a three-year betting partnership with Brussels-based football club RSC Anderlecht.

In a move to boost its brand coverage in the newly regulated Belgian online betting market, the partnership will see Betway gain increased branding throughout Anderlecht’s Constant Vanden Stock Stadium – with a capacity for 27,000 people – on Belgium First Division A match days.

When signing the agreement, General Manager of Operations at Anderlecht, Jo Van Biesbroeck, said that the football club was pleased to have partnered with such a well-known and responsible online gambling operator.

The Brussels-based football club is one of Belgium’s best followed teams, forming part of Belgian football’s traditional “Big Three” of RSC Anderlecht, Club Brugge, and Standard Liege.

Betway’s Director of Marketing and Operations Anthony Werkman was pleased to have secured a high-level partnership with Anderlecht. Speaking to Belgian media, Werkman said: “Betway are proud and delighted to become the new partner of RSC Anderlecht. This historic and successful club has an amazing history and we see this partnership as an opportunity to bring our brand closer to supporters of the club Anderlecht and throughout Belgian football.”
