The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has announced that BetVictor has joined its Authorised Betting Partner scheme as betting operator.
According to the three-year agreement, BetVictor will voluntarily contribute to the horseracing sport from its profits on trading in UK racing markets.
Becoming a new BHA member, BetVictor will now be able to promote and sponsor its betting service at racing events organised by the Authority. So far, three other operators have joined the ABP scheme, namely bet365, 32Red and Betfair.
Nick Rust, BHA CEO, said: “We are delighted that BetVictor has chosen to become an Authorised Betting Partner and that they recognise the benefits of a three-year deal with British Racing. We look forward to working with them to grow their racing business, and to seeing their name on British racecourses.”
CEO of BetVictor Andreas Meinrad commented: “We are proud to announce that we are an Authorised Betting Partner of British horseracing. BetVictor has a rich heritage in the sport, and we want to play our part in ensuring the long term growth, sustainability and success of British horseracing.”
“We feel we would be doing our customers a disservice by not getting behind this initiative and believe it will resonate with customers of other companies who choose not to sign up”, he added.
