Stewart Vassie

Stewart Vassie is a successful technology entrepreneur in the iGaming Sportsbook sector and is Lead Consultant for Product Innovation & Technology with Partis Solutions, the sectors leading advisory group. Specialising in global enterprise software, Stewart has a track record in delivering business growth, innovation and leadership.

In 2005, Stewart co-founded Botsphere, the innovator of automated sportsbook trading solutionsBotsphere worked with large UK bookmakers including BetfairBetFred and BetVictor. A successful sale to BetVictor in 2012 resulted in Stewart joining BetVictor and serving as Head of Trading Technology, a position he held until the summer of 2016. In this role, Stewart was responsible for sportsbook innovation, third-party data, pricing and trading tools and services. Stewart managed the implementation of automated trading solutions for BetVictor across several mainstream sports for online and mobile operations. During his time with BetVictorStewart was also a Personal Management Licence holder with the UK Gambling Commission.

Prior to Botsphere, Stewart co-founded Oddschecker in 2001, which was the world’s first and largest online odds comparison site, providing real-time sports price information. He managed the growth and development of the business from 2001 to a highly successful exit in 2007, when the business was acquired by Sky BettingAt the time of its sale, Oddschecker was responsible for over £100m in annual partner revenue. Oddscheckercustomers were – and still are – on-line gaming businesses and include all the major operators and brands.

Prior to Oddschecker, Stewart ran the Europe, Middle East and Africa business for Exchange Applications, a leader in Customer Relationship Management software. Stewart served as a board director and worked with the rest of the board on Exchange Applications NASDAQ IPO. Stewart’s earlier career was in software sales and marketing.
