Michael Kibort joined DraftKings in July 2014 as General Manager of the New York Office before pivoting focus on international expansion. Michael successfully led the company’s launch in the U.K – it’s first overseas market, and has since helped DraftKings launch in Ireland, Austria, Germany and Malta. In his current role, Michael is responsible for DraftKings’ international strategy, focusing on business development, partnership negotiations, premium initiatives and more.
Michael has over 10 years’ experience in the sports industry with a successful track record in developing and identifying strategically attractive jurisdiction targets for launching in new international markets. Prior to DraftKings, Michael co-founded DraftStreet where he took on the role of Chief Operations Officer and lead a world class development team that built impactful innovations to drive the user experience and industry forward.
Michael graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a degree in economics. He resides in Malta.
